At Dwelling Blocks, we’re committed to helping you succeed as a valued vendor.
While our system streamlines many parts of the appraisal process and profile management, please remember that order assignments are handled directly by the lender's team. For any questions about order allocation, reach out to your connected lender.
To maximize your opportunities and maintain a great standing, follow these essential tips:
1. Keep Your Profile Up to Date
A complete and current profile helps you get more assignments and ensures smooth communication. Double-check the following:
License: Make sure your license is verified and not expired.
Insurance: Upload current insurance documentation.
Coverage Area: Update the regions you serve.
Address: Ensure your address is accurate so lenders know you’re local.
Phone Number: This is crucial - lenders may call to offer assignments.
Capacity: Keep your availability current.
Tip: If you’re on vacation, update your profile to reflect your unavailability, and remember to reactivate when you return.
2. Stay Proactive with Assignments
To maintain a high score and positive relationships with lender and their clients:
Set the Appointment Promptly: Schedule inspections as soon as possible.
Mark Inspection as Completed: Update the status after the inspection.
Set ETA for Report Submission: Enter the estimated report delivery date.
Refer to this article to learn more about each step.
Why? These status updates keep lender, their brokers, and borrowers informed and help close out the order in the system.
3. Communicate About Delays
If you can’t meet a due date (for example, if you’re unable to schedule an inspection in time), contact the lender support team right away to request a new due date (using the urgent Notes area in the order assignment details tab).
4. Confirm Successful Report Submission
After uploading your report:
Check for Confirmation Email: You should receive an email confirming submission status and the transfer. This is your final notification that everything is complete, or if something requires your attention.
Didn’t Get the Email?: It’s a good practice to check your report status directly in the system. The status will always reflect the most current information - whether your submission was successful or if any additional actions are required from you. While emails are a good way to get some notifications, regularly logging in and checking is the best method.
5. Need Help?
