If a Vendor user is an appraiser, they’ll need to add their appraisal license to their user profile in Dwelling Blocks. This can be done by the appraiser themselves or by an administrator with access to User Profiles. A valid license is required for eligibility to receive any appraisal assignments.

Steps to Add an Appraisal License

  1. Access the User Profile:

    • Navigate to the User Profile of the appraiser.
  2. Add a License:

    • Click the Add License button in the profile.

    • Enter the license informationas prompted.

  3. Verification Process:

    • Once the license information is submitted, Dwelling Blocks will initiate a verification procedure for the license.
    • Users can add multiple licenses if needed.
    • Note
Only verified, valid licenses allow eligibility for appraisal assignments.

Dwelling Blocks will automatically revalidate the license expiration date two weeks before it expires and will repeat this process several times to ensure continued eligibility for assignments.

  4. Verification Notification:
An email notification will be sent when the license verification is completed, or if the verification could not be completed.

    Important Note:
We do not require you to upload a copy of your license. Simply entering your license information is sufficient for verification and assignment eligibility.

By following these steps, appraisers can ensure their licenses are on file and verified in Dwelling Blocks, meeting the requirements to be eligible for lender assignments.
