Welcome to Dwelling Blocks! We’re thrilled to have you join our community of vendors. Our platform is designed to make managing your orders as seamless as possible, and we want to ensure that your experience gets off to a great start. This guide will walk you through the first five essential steps to get your company account set up and ready to receive new assignments. Remember, you'll need to complete the first four steps before you can start receiving new orders. Let’s dive in!


*Note: For users without administrative permissions, the process is simpler: just make sure your personal profile is complete and accurate to be eligible for new assignments.


Below are the steps you need to complete and there is a dedicated onboarding page for you to get started quickly here.


Step 1: Enable Administrative Permissions


To begin, set up administrative permissions for yourself and any other team members in your company who need full access to the Dwelling Blocks platform. Granting administrative permissions ensures that designated users can manage account settings, company details, and assignments. You can enable these permissions for yourself or add additional users who require access.

Step 2: Add Your Company Address


Next, head over to the Company Profile section and provide your company’s address. This step is crucial for order processing, and it helps us route assignments based on your location. Make sure to enter your address accurately to avoid any issues down the line. 


Step 3: Connect Your Bank Account


To receive payments seamlessly, you'll need to connect your bank account through Stripe and Dwelling Blocks. This secure integration ensures that you get paid on time and without hassle for completed assignments.


Step 4: Verify Your Account Details


Before you can start receiving new orders, it's important to verify your account details. Review and update your personal information, including your address (which affects locational proximity algorithms), license details, coverage area, and insurance information. Accurate information will ensure smooth order processing and better assignment matching.


Step 5: Familiarize Yourself with the Platform


Now that the setup steps are complete, take some time to get acquainted with the Dwelling Blocks platform. Here's a quick overview:

  • Offers: This is where new assignments appear. Check here regularly for new opportunities.
  • In Progress: View assignments that are currently underway and track their status.
  • All Assignments: Access your full order history, including completed and canceled assignments.
