Getting Started Checklist for New Appraiser and Inspection Vendors

Welcome to Dwelling Blocks! As a newly added vendor, it is important to complete your setup to ensure you are eligible for assignments. Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Accept Your Email Invitation

• Check your email for an invitation from Dwelling Blocks.

• Click the link within the email before it expires.

• Set up a secure password for your account.

Step 2: Log Into Dwelling Blocks

• Visit the Dwelling Blocks login page.

• Enter your email and the password you just created. **Please ensure you are using the email address that received the invite when trying to login with the password you just created.**

• Successfully logging in will grant you access to your account.

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

• Navigate to your profile.

• Verify and update your personal information to ensure accuracy.

Step 4: Report Type Selection

• Review and activate the report types that you support in the profile "Order Sources" tab. Make sure all necessary report types are selected to avoid delays.

Step 5: Company Settings 

If you see a warning to finish setting company account, click on the "Review Company Onboarding Progress" button. Make sure Add/Invite Admin User section has admin company email.

• 'Current admin(s)' list empty: 
   - If you are the admin of the company, click 'Set myself as admin' button  and follow the link to complete the company setup steps. 
   - If you know who the admin is, click on "Invite Admin" to send an invitation to the correct person. 
• 'Current admin(s)' has email, no action is required. Just wait for the company admin to complete the remaining setup.

Step 6: Account Activation & Order Eligibility

• Once your profile is fully completed with verified information, licenses, and insurance, your account will be activated.

• After activation, you will be eligible to receive order assignments!
