Troubleshooting Email Delivery Issues

Checking your email delivery logs

Every user can review their own email delivery history in the Activity Tab of the profile.

  • Go to:  My Profile → Activity

  • Look for the email in question and check its delivery status.

When you do not see any logs

If you do not see email logs for expected notifications, first verify that notifications are not suppressed for your account.

If notifications are enabled but there are still no logs, please contact Dwelling Blocks support so the team can investigate your account configuration.

When status is “Email Delivery Failed” it can have 2 reasons:

“Bounce” means your email server declined or rejected messages.
To fix this:

  • Check your Trash/Spam folders for Dwelling Blocks emails and move any found messages to Inbox.

  • Whitelist Dwelling Blocks’ sending email address/domain in your email client or security gateway.

  • Contact your email provider’s support to check for additional filters, blocks

  • After completing these steps, reach out to our support so delivery can be re‑checked on the system side.

“Complaint” means you (or your email provider) marked Dwelling Blocks messages as spam, so Dwelling Blocks stopped sending further emails to protect deliverability.
To resolve this:

  • Contact our support and confirm you want to receive emails again so the complaint flag can be removed.

  • Perform the same remedial steps as for Bounce: check Spam/Trash, move messages to Inbox, and whitelist Dwelling Blocks emails to avoid future complaints.

If issues continue after changes

If you still experience delivery issues after the above steps, we may suggest you to try a different address (for example, a @gmail.com mailbox) to see if a different provider receives messages reliably.
This helps separate provider‑side filtering from issues, as Dwelling Blocks cannot override your email provider’s internal filtering rules.

Use SMS for time‑sensitive alerts

Email delivery can be delayed by your provider, even when everything is configured correctly.
To avoid missing time‑sensitive updates, you can enable SMS notifications in your Notification settings.
